In this era where everything seems to be modernized and giving expensive things as gifts is highly appreciated, we would like to say that nothing beats the value of giving from the heart and of out the heart.

If there is one thing that will last here on earth, that is none other than the words that comes out of us. It is more personal and sincere.

Yes we do appreciate those material things that could cost a lot of money. But one can never deny the fact that simple words can create a huge impact that could mean more than any of those expensive things in the world.

This holiday, if you are thinking of giving the best gift you could give the person you love most; then it is time that you share what is inside your heart. Nothing is more personal and deep than pouring your heart through words and putting it to writing.

A simple Christmas Card is not simple when the words written on it are words of honesty and sincerity. Of all the material gifts that a person would receive, a card will stand out with the rights words on it.

But what are the right words to say? You can start from telling what you really feel. This is the perfect time for you to finally say what you really need to say. The best time for the person you love to know how much he or she is appreciated and valued.

Never underestimate the power of words. It has the ability to change lives, to create life, to inspire and to give a massive impact to people beyond what you can imagine. Once uttered, you can no longer take it back. It is indeed something that will last forever.

So we challenge you this year to change it up a little bit when it comes to gift giving. Make it more personal and create your own Christmas card. Anyone who will receive such sincere words will be too crazy not to appreciate it.

It is not a cliché to say that after all, it is the thought that counts. That is not just a mere saying to make you feel better when you give an inexpensive item, rather it is a fact that the value of the gift begins once you have thought of the person you are to give the gift to.

You may be swamped with all the Christmas shopping ideas you are encouraged to make, now how about you sit back and simply write from the heart the words that will last for more than just one holiday season.

Christmas cards will never get old.

It is that time of the year again when shopping becomes an understatement and everyone seems to be panic buying on just about everything that catches their eyes that would seem to be a good gift for the people they love. The spirit of giving is enormously present.
But whether you are or you are not on a tight budget, you still need to plan your spending. Otherwise, you can welcome the New Year without a penny in your pocket which is so unwise.
Like Santa Claus, you must have a list and you need to check it twice (or probably more than twice). Listing the items and their prices will make you organize your Christmas shopping. Not only would you not miss giving someone their gift, it will also save you from the chaos and hassle of shopping. It will save you time, energy and money.
Buy gifts as if you are buying it for yourself. Empathy is one word to keep in mind. If you are on their shoes, will you like that particular gift you have in mind when given to you? That is one factor to consider.
Items need not to be expensive after all; it is the thought that counts, so they say. That means what exactly will you “think” of giving someone while you have specific pricing to follow and the same time that will make them happy.
This website is dedicated to give you awesome Christmas shopping ideas you can only find here! From the items to buy to the shops where you can find them, this site will definitely give you the information that you need.
This is the perfect season to be blessed and bless and not be stressed! To save you from the hassle of this year’s holiday chaos, here are the basic that you should remember; Christmas is not about the gifts (sometimes it’s how you wrap them), give your best when it comes to gifts (but it does not need to be expensive), and the last but definitely not the least is to remember the reason for this celebration- Jesus Christ was born.
The next articles will guide you the right items to purchase for your specific love ones. What is best for your Mom and Dad and what is perfect for your bestfriend without spending a fortune. Remember that is best to still have money for the coming New Year.
Stick around and don’t go anywhere else!

Christmas is one of the worst times of year for managing your time effectively, particularly if you are a working parent. In your job, you are rushing to get all your work done before the Christmas break and at home you have to do all the shopping, decorating and cooking (you, too guys!). Not to mention ferrying your kids here and there, attending their school nativity play and finding ways to amuse them at home during the ‘relaxing’ Christmas vacation.

So, how can you have a Christmas that doesn’t frazzle your nerves and have you praying for it to end?

After many years of stress-filled seasons of joy and goodwill to all men I needed something to save my sanity every December so I developed the PROP sytem.

PROP stands for Planning, Realism, Organization and Prioritization.

You need to plan your Christmas well in advance.

I’m not saying you should be one of those sad people who buy next year’s Christmas presents in the January sales. Around October time you should prepare a schedule for November and December. The days you are going to go shopping, when you are going to meet your friends, when to put up the tree and decorate your home. Make a list of people you are going to buy presents for. Also, the week before Christmas make sure you have a whole day free to deal with any last minute problems.

Be realistic.

About time, about money and about your expectations.

As Christmas approaches, it’s not just the days that get shorter. Weeks just fly by and suddenly Christmas Eve arrives and you are nowhere near ready. So, don’t give yourself too much to do. The unexpected always happens when you are under time pressure. The less you have to do, the less pressure you are facing.

Fix a budget that doesn’t max out your credit card or dip into your savings. It would be nice to buy your wife that diamond ring she’s always wanted, but maybe not this Christmas. Don’t expect a magical White Christmas with peace on earth. The more you chase magic the faster it runs away from you. A Christmas at home with your family around you and food on the table is magical in itself.

Organize.

Share the tasks around the family. Delegate someone to get the food. Someone else to get the tree. And have a dishwashing and cleaning rota for Christmas and the New year. “If you don’t cook ya gotta clean!” We don’t want mum to be stuck in the kitchen 24/7.

Here comes the difficult part.

Prioritizing.

So, you make your Christmas present list and you can either spend $10 each on 30 presents or $50 on each of your nearest and dearest. It should be an easy decison but a lot of us get embarrassed if we don’t buy presents for friends and colleagues.

You have to make choices.

Decide what you really want to get for your partner, parents and children and work out how much it will cost to get these gifts. Put that amount aside and whatever is left over goes on non-family members.

Prioritizing also includes your time. Christmas Eve at the office party or in front of the tree with your family? Watch TV all day or visit friends?

It takes some effort, but if you use the PROP system you’re well on the way to having a happy, stress-free Christmas

Every year around Christmas time we promise ourselves that we are going to turn over a new leaf and, by the end of January, 95% of us are stuck exactly where we were last year. What happens to our good intentions and why can’t we stick to our New Year resolutions?

The first, and most important thing, about any New Year resolution is that it has to be something that YOU really want to do and isn’t something that has been imposed on you by pressure from other people.

For example, losing weight.

If everybody around you says that you have got to shed those pounds but you don’t feel like making the effort to do it, then you are doomed to failure. We can’t change others. Change comes from the inside. Of course, comments from your family and friends can influence you but, until you yourself make up your mind that a slimmer body is where you really want to go, that diet is a complete non-starter.

Okay, so you’ve decided what you really want to change in your life now you have set your goals. You may have heard about setting SMART goals. The idea is that any goal you have will be hard to achieve unless it is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timed. In other words, you have to say exactly what you want and it has to be possible for YOU within a fixed time frame. “I want to be slim” just won’t work because it’s too vague. Neither will “I want to lose 25 pounds in 3 days” because it is impossible.

“I want to lose 15 pounds by April 30th” is much better.

Then you have to take action.

What you want won’t happen unless you make some changes to your lifestyle. For example, by cutting out sugar, drinking 3 pints of water a day and taking a brisk 45 minute walk 4 times a week, losing 15 pounds in 4 months is not difficult. What can be difficult is sticking with your new lifestyle. Research has shown that it takes people two weeks to adopt a new habit. Once you are through that fortnight it’s all downhill.

One other little tip. We all try to find excuses to put off things that require too much effort. So your thinking goes somewhere along the lines of

New Year’s Day: it’s a holiday – I’ll start the diet tomorrow.

January 2nd: first day back at work, I need that sugar lift.

January 3rd: it’s too late to start a diet this week. I’ll begin next Monday.

There is no better time to start a new life than today. If you wait until tomorrow you are lost and your New Year’s resolution will go out of the window.

Follow the motto of a famous sportswear company

“Just Do It!”

Each New Year’s is a time for us to think about our lives, where we have been, where we are now and where we are going in the future. All too often, we spend too little time doing this and, as a result, we don’t make the changes in our lives we would really like to see.

Thinking of a New Year’s resolution is all well and good but any major changes in our lives require a plan to help them reach fruition. Maybe you want to finally go after your childhood dream and become a singer, or change your job, or even go back to college and get a better qualification. Whatever it is, you need to think it through and consider the changes it will bring to your life and how you will handle it.

The first step is to take time away from your daily life and go visit a good friend for a weekend (without your partner and kids). Talk to them about your ideas and get their feedback. If what you are planning is a drastic change that could meet some resistance from your nearest and dearest, ask your friend to play devil’s advocate and try to argue you out of it. An idea that has not been tested could result in grief somewhere down the line.

Give yourself a couple of weeks to mull your idea over then go spend another weekend away, this time completely alone. Preferably at a beach or in a forest – somewhere quiet and natural that helps you to reflect on your life and the direction you are thinking of going.

Spend another couple of weeks researching what you want to do and then, if you are convinced it is right for you, discuss it seriously with your partner. Hopefully, they will support you all the way. If not, you need the strength to go forward yourself. This can be tricky and cause relationship problems so you really need to make your original case watertight.

During the 6 week thinking process it is important to keep your other half informed of what you are considering doing. There’s no need to be secretive (you don’t want your partner panicking and thinking you are planning to divorce them) but don’t present it as a firm plan, just an idea you are thinking about. Encourage your partner to do something similar, too, because the one constant in life is change and, if we fail to change, our lives become barren and empty. When you are spending your two weekends away, phone your partner twice a day. If you don’t keep in regular touch they could be imagining all kinds of bad things (which might not be a bad thing because they will appreciate you more when you return!).

New Year is nearly upon us so get your thinking cap on and start planning your two weekend trips. Whatever you do, don’t put off change for yet another year. As they say, there’s no time like the present!
